For a SAMSON 3730-3 manual, match the complete device name, hardware and firmware before choosing a document. Classic Type 3730-3 and TROVIS 3730-3 use different instructions; TROVIS also has separate version branches.

This selector covers only the three versions listed here. Other firmware versions need their matching instructions. A newer publication date alone does not establish compatibility.
Read the identity before interpreting a code
Record the complete type, hardware version, firmware or software version, serial number and exact displayed message. Keep the document number and edition with that record. A search result labelled only “3730” does not identify the full type suffix.
The July 2025 TROVIS manual directs HV 01.00.xx / SV 02.00.xx readers to separate instructions. Its compatibility notes are more specific: HV 01.00.00 accepts only SV 02.00.xx and cannot update to 02.02.xx; HV 02.00.00 accepts only SV 02.02.xx and cannot downgrade to 02.00.xx. These document branches cannot be made interchangeable by a firmware change.
Choose the document for the question
Use the matching mounting and operating instructions to locate installation, start-up and operation guidance. In the July 2025 TROVIS edition, section 9 addresses malfunctions and Appendix A lists configuration items and status messages. Those locations should not be assumed for the older manuals.
EXPERTplus valve diagnostics uses a separate document. EB 8389-3 EN, July 2025, is for firmware 02.02.xx. It supplements the relevant mounting and operating instructions; it is not a universal diagnostics manual for every 3730-3 version.
